how long of a cycle would this be??

SO im trying to figure out if my due date was correct!! Every month i would come on a exzactly a day after the month before!! How long of a cycle would that be!?? 29 days orrr??

I dunno! But it sounds like you are on your way! I am 35 weeks pregnant w/ my first and I have NO idea what to expect.. And going to the hospital (especially repeatedly) to be told to go home must be frustrating!!!! I hope this is it for you!!!! Maybe call L&D?

Ok so the contractions are still five mins apart...(after taking a bath) and are getting painful but like i said nothing i cant handle!! Should i just wait for my water to break?? Can i wait for my water to break?? I dont want to go over and get hooked up only to be told its false labour yet again!! Ergghhh I really dont know what to do!! Wait i guess!

well according to my last menstural period....im 3 days over due..my due date was 12/8!! I know the doc isnt going to do anything until mond when i see him the 15th which would make me a week...thats what he decided anyways!! I was just wondering if i may have had a longer cycle would that put me to a due date of today instead of on mon when i thought it was!! I have been having contractions again today!! Not really painful but i can feel them and there pretty close!! five mins between the last one!! MY water hasent broken..im going to see if they get any closer!! :) Im taking a bath and well see what happens!! If this is labour they wont stop in the bath right or subside?? Like i said df and i had sex last night...maby that kick started something! Ill update after my bath!!

Why hasnt your Dr swept your memberanes yet? And was your due date 12/10? B/c if so, they may not do anything for you for another week or so!! =(

Hang in there and keep us posted.. I think you are only 1 day overdue though, right? I may be totally wrong, but I think that is what I read?

okkkkkkkkkkkkkk.........soo....last night i got df to have sex and we both had the big O!! But guess what im still not in labour!! WHats up with that??? OMG i literally cried all yesterday because i cant take being pregnant anymore!! I just feel sooo shitt*!! MY back pain and my belly pain....its never ending and im not getting anything out of it at this point..well if i was in llabour and had to deal with this pain of course i wouldnt cry because im getting my baby when its over and i know im still getting my baby but you know what i mean right!! I cant take nothing for these practice pains..and on top of all that now im getting headaches!! Oh i really dont know what else to try..im sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo close to just downing that castor oil!! Soo close!! I wish my stupid f'ing doctor would just sweep my membranes already!! ERHHGGGG!!! LAdies i need you to help me :( :'(!!!! Im going crazy here it was bad enough just waiting for the due date,.but to go past it!! I cant handle this anymore!!

So I have to say this, your not really overdue until it's two weeks over the due date your doctor gave you!  And they say that because not all cycles are the same, because the wheel they go by is a 28 cycle wheel.  So likely your really due within the next few days.

I know some women like to think their way over due, which is really never the case.  

But, with that being said....  I still think your baby is being stubborn!  LOL  Maybe s/he is waiting for the next zodiac sign LMAO...  that would be the 21?  But you never know.  You need to give that baby a good talking too!  =)

This is precisely why they give a range of 38-42 weeks as full term.  I'm glad that they are going to induce next week though.  It seems perfectly reasonable at that point.

i know the one they gave me at 17 weeks was way off as i knew i was pregnant when i was about 4 and a half weeks!! They told me at that appt that i wasent due until the 18th of dec!! my doc seems to think i was due today or a few days ago becuase at the beginning when i had my ultrasound done at 13 weeks it matched up with the 8 or tenth!! Sooo im think im due today or within the next few days!! Im still saying im two days over due..but my doc must be pretty confindent right sence i see him again on the 15th and he says if im not gone by then on my own he wants to induce becuase ill be aweek over!! ??

I may need some back-up on this one, but your new cycle starts the first day of your period.  So from that day, till you start your next period would be your full cycle.  Mine was usually 32 days or so ...so with a due date calculator, that would put my EDD in Jan.  

Doctors' offices use that little wheel chart and that goes by the "average" 28 day cycle ... so it could be "off" for most women.  According to my doc and her wheel chart, my EDD is 12/31 ... the one I calculated with my 32 day cycle was 1/8/09 ...so there's a week's difference.

From what I've read on here, the earlier ultrasounds are usually the most accurate ones.  But I never had an early ultrasound, so I have no idea.  =D  At my one and only ultrasound the baby was measuring about a week ahead of my EDD according to the doc.

Using the basic formula (go back three months and add a week), it would make your due date December 11-12.  Having said that, if your cycle was running a little longer (more than 30 days), your date could be a bit later.

What was the date of your LMP?  An earlier ultrasound would have been more accurate than at 17 weeks.

btw my ultrasound was the same as my last mentural period..but i got a different due date at my 17 week ultrasound!!  The earlier one is the right one..correct??
