I bf and pumped for almost 7 months with my first. I was able to freeze enough that she made it to 11 months just on that. Plan to do the same with this one!

i pumped for a year! my daughter couldnt latch, so i pumped. it wasnt easy but i knew i was giving my daughter the BEST. she's 3 now and a little too smart for her own good :P

Im currently 31weeks 2 days with a boy! i plan on breastfeeding (if he latches) for a few weeks then switching to pumping so i can go back to work :) and i plan on doing this for either as long as my body will allow me up to a year!

I breast feed my first for a year and then with my second he wasnt gaining weight with just my milk so I had to do formula as well. Something my Doc told me that made me feel alot betters is to not stress yourself out if you want to do formula as well Some Breast milk is better then no breast milk so I bottle feed but also breast feed what I could until he was a year as well. My doc suggested to breast feed some at least for 6 months. Its all up to you though everyone is different and no answer is a wrong answer Good luck and congrats on your little one

I've done that...I burp her about 3-4 times depending on how long she eats (I breast and pump feed)...I've put her crib mattress on an angle and when she eats I either hold her up right or put her in her bouncer...I just don't know what to do...laundry is killing me ha ha

sounds like your just worrying ;). if shes gaining weight then shes getting enough to eat. maybe make sure your burping her and not laying her down right after nursing? her doctor doesnt sound worried though so thats good

have you seen a lactation consultant or spoken to your daughters pediatrician? i am a ftm and i am planning on breast feeding for 6months-year. however my husband told me with his daughter when her mom ate mushrooms and then breastfed she would get terribly sick- turned out to be an alergy. As soon as her mother stopped eating mushrooms she was fine. if you really want to continue breastfeeding try taking advantage of the resources you have available it could be something simple! good luck to you!! and dont feel like your giving up, you obviously have your daughters best interests at heart!
