how many of you are really going to wait
I wanted to see how many of the mama's on here were actually planning on waiting the full 6 weeks after birth before they have sex with their hubbys/ partner's.

Yeah. Sweetie think about waiting because worse case scenario, you rip something or rupture something. But it's definitely up to you. Just don't rush anything

I do. You could rip your stitches or infect yourself really badly, plus its so puffy and swollen down there. Bfs and husbands need to know despite them being horny they do have hands, lubriderm and a bathroom. Its not a matter of not wanting to have sex its a matter of your personal health and he needs to have enough respect that even if you come onto him he puts your health first and says no. Bc my stitches healed so slow, I had to wait 8wks, plus a month before we didnt have sex, so he waited 3 whole months for sex. Theres bjs and porn for a reason in my opinion lol.

Just asking because I have never been able to wait even a week. Once I did not even make it out of the hospital. With all my kids I only had stitches once and did not even wait then. I know the drs say to wait and I wanted to know how many women have or plan to.
Im 21 weeks. We still do it now. But I am definitely waiting 12 weeks. Just because I don't know how my vagina(sorry) is going to be acting. FTM.
I waited 3weeks the last time only because i left my house to stay at my grandparents my fiance has a problem where he is still sleep but will sex me in the middle of the night but he's totally unaware they have a name for it but i don't remember
I waited with 2 of my 3 and I wish I would have waited with the third. It is pretty uncomfortable the first time.
Me, with my first we waited for 8W .. Even though i had c section , i was still bleeding & scared lol

I definitely will be. Possibly even longer. My partner is rather large down there, and sex can be painful sometimes anyway. Want to make sure I am totally healed
