unsure about ability to conceive

Hi. I am 27 y/o and my husband and I have been TTC since October 2011. We got married and then Oct 15th I went off the pill. I had a couple normal cycles, then Dec 2011 I had a very light cycle last for 17 days into early Jan 2012. I then had another cycle, lighter than usual, followed by another light cycle two weeks after that. I have not had a cycle since the end of Feb 2012 (3 months now). I had a negative HPT April 20 and don't feel pregnant. My doctor (whom I now want to switch) has not done blood tests and won't.

Has anyone gone through this sort of thing? Any advice?

I am going to call a new doctor. My cousin just had a baby new years eve and LOVES her doctor. It's a male which I was uneasy about but the more I hear about women loving their male doctors, I'm ok with it now.

I have been working out trying to lose weight for a couple months now and it's a slow process but I'm hoping that will help. Before I went on BC I had irregular cycles but I was only 16, so I didn't think it'd come back. We'll see what happens! Thank you so much.

I had irregular periods and struggled to lose weight and took a year and a half to conceive. I have polycystic ovary syndrome . Get second  opinion your doctor sounds useless. If you'd like more info on PCOS...(not saying you have it.. just a possibility)drop me a message I'd be happy to help.

I have done the ovulation tests that show a happy face for your two peak days and nothing. I've tried a fertility monitor that shows low, high, or peak periods and I got nothing but high readings on that. I did the BBT charting for only about 5 weeks and that is what my doctor is using to tell me I can't get prego without meds, but I didn't do it for long enough in my opinion. I just got sick of getting stressed out so much that I quit monitoring everything. I've never kept track of the mucus though...
