can I get induced before my due date? its 2weeks away I was dilated at 3cm an 80% thinned an now nothing . if I do get induced how long does it take to have your baby? has anyone experienced it ?

I'm sure you can for medical reasons and for the babys safety. But if your babys just fine then I'm sure your dr will probably want he/she to stay inside until their ready. Your womb provides amazing nutrients and so many good things to your baby and its usually best for them to stay as long as they need to gain all their last bits of strength and let them take advantage of all that good stuff before they're exposed to the world where it all depends on them.

They probably won't induce unless they feel the need too medically

Good question. I'd also like to know, Im 37+1 n 3cm n 70% effaced. Been like that for a week now.

it varies every woman is different they wont dialate u unless its medically recomended or if ure past ure due date I was like I I was 3cm n 70% effaced but had to get induced bcz my biliribon was too high n that was at 39wks n my whole labor from start to finish was
11 hrs 45minuts
