My only concern is that its hit and than cold because when the ac cones on of course it gets cold, but everytime I pick her up she is drentched in sweat, I started sleeping in panties and a bra w ac at 74 w a onesie and her and swaddled. Does this seem like too much?

My girl is 5 days old. I dont swaddle her cause found she doesnt like it. My midwife said bub should have one more layer on than what you would have on. Days here are hot as and the nights drop down to freezing! So it makes it really hard :/

That's actually a good rule of thumb. If you're hot, then baby will be hot more than likely. If you're cold then baby could be cold. Put a sleeper on baby. Your baby will let you know by crying if they are too hot or too cold!

I was always told, if your hot then baby's hot, if your cold baby's cold.

My babys 13wks and I still worry about that. I just put him in a sleeper and keep my room at a temp where I only use a sheet. His pediatrician said if I'm not cold then he ain't be but if I'm hot then chances are he will be. I don't thinks this helps a lot but he seems to sleep really well
