Question!

So I am having to get a sonogram done on Thursday have my cyst looked at as it was doctor's orders. When my doctor was discussing this with me at my last appt, he said that that's usually about the time that we can tell the gender of the baby. So naturally I got very excited but I have had some people tell me that the tech won't even look at the baby because they just have a doctor's order to look at my cyst. Has this happened to anybody else where they went in for a sonogram to have a cyst or something else looked at besides the baby and didn't even have the baby looked at. I am so wanting to find out the sex of my baby, but I am so fearful that we won't get to on Thursday and will have to wait another month. Oh and I will be 16 weeks and 4 days on Thursday!

Thanks, ladies! I will definitely be asking! And that's what I figure, I will already be there, so might as well! I haven't had an ultrasound in like two months and I really want to see how he/she is doing. OOO I am so anxious!! :)

I went to have a cyst checked and got pictures of the ultrasound and even a 4d. It might just depend on who is doing it. But they might as well sence you are already there

You have to ask, i had an u/s for something way different i knew they werent going to pay attention to the gender, so before they started i asked that if after they were done doing what doctored ordered if they can please tell me the babies gender at the end and so she did,  so you can just ask. Lol hope this helped! My personal experience

Correction: I will be 17 weeks and 4 days on Thursday!
