hyperthyroidism-graves disease/pregnancy?
Wondering if theres anyone out there who has graves disease and pregnant? My levels are really high so theyrr giving me medication my first trimester. The chances of liver damange and birth defects scares me. Anyone else who can relate? Have advice?
Hey. I'm also on PTU for hyperthyroidism. This will be my 2nd pregnancy on this drug. My last baby was born a week late and a very healthy 10lb 10oz. I'm am under a great Endocrinologist this time so feel even more confident that things will go to plan once again. PTU is the safest drug for hyperthyroidism for a pregnant woman to be on.
