You can do it! :) I only had gas and air just keep thinking positive and focus on knowing that you going to meet your beautiful baby that's what got me through the pain it's worth it.
They created an epidural for a reason, no need to be ashamed of it. I'm sure women of the past wish they had the option and most would have took it. Just like most people drive instead of walk or horse and buggy today :) I wanted to go natural too but I talked to my doctor about it... and she changed my mind.
Ask for a tens machine and gas and air x
Walk. The worst u can do is lay in the hospital bed not being able to move. I walked the second I knew I was in labor and when I got to the hospital I had my son 30 min later. The walking helped alot in my opinion. I laid in bed with my daughter and it was horrible.
I say go natural because of the possible side effects in epidural. Women has been giving natural birth for a long time back then, so I don't see why it would be hard for us the new generation. Also giving birth is painful and that's how it is. You can do it
Wether you do it with or without meds, your still a mom and we all just want our babies healthy. So if you give in its ok do what works for you and not everyone around you. Good luck and congratulations
In my opinion if your baby is coming out your vagina it's a natural birth lol but if I were able to deliver naturally I would try the iv pain meds before the epidural. My best friend got iv meds and she was able to get some rest without getting the epidural! You can do it no matter how you chose to deliver! Good luck momma!!!!
U can do this, yea it's easier to just give in to the epidural but ur stronger than u think, I'M all about natural labor, if ur tired instead of getting an epidural or spinal u can ask for stadol, it takes the edge off and u can get some rest, it does not numb u like an epidural therefore u will still have a natural delivery. Don't give up u can do this!
Instead of thinking on how painful it is try and relax and find something to take your mind off the pain. You can do it.
Epidural worked for me my first pregnancy
