#1- you can get a positive hpt before 5 weeks, I was 4w3d when I got my first positive.
#2- there is nooo way you can know you're pregnant at 1-2 weeks, unless like your case, hcg levels are confirmed by a doctor.
#3- there will be nothing on the ultrasound at 1-2 weeks, thats why he wouldn't do one, the first 4 weeks aren't even considered "fetus" or a pregnancy, its called a zygote, I believe (I could be wrong, so dont quote me on that one) :)
You aren't 1-2 weeks. That's when egg is ferlized and is attaching to you uterus. Your more like 4-5 weeks. Its normal not to see much until after 6 weeks. Did they do a vaginal scan? I saw mine at 5+6 but my sister couldn't see anything until 7 so don't stress. Your doctor should of explained this. Your pregnancy is counted from your last period unless its irregular then its done from a dating scan.
and in the first 2 weeks the egg is still burrowing into the uterine wall, finding out too early can be a bad thing because until its burrowed their is always a chance for early misscarriage....
most people don't even find out they are pregnant until 4-5 weeks so idk how you found out so early lol and doctors usually will not do a ultrasound until 7 weeks cause before then you can't see anything.
My doc said a pregnancy test cannot be read until 5 weeks pregnant.
U wont see absolutly anything till 6w
With in 1-2 weeks the sac should have been visible with an ultrasound. Ask to have it repeated.
And just to add, you can't tell at 1-2 weeks pregnant, you're probably thinking 3 or 4 if you tested right after missing your period.
The blood could be the start of implantation (egg and sperm making sells and "burrowing" into yoyr uterine wall) headaches are normal because of the rise in HCG. And the "cramps" can also be caused by implantation. Good luck!
You can't really see anything on an ultrasound until like 7 weeks along I think
