i want to tie my tubes

After I have this baby I wana tie my tubes but everyone says you have to be 25 or have 3 kids. This is number 2 and I'll be 23 before the new baby comes. What can I do?

I am 21 and this will be my second baby and they let me sign the papers to get mine tied. I live in tallahassee Florida

I feel the same I as well have 2 step children n me n him just done I'm in Nebraska I use to live in Florida I tried there after I had my first daughter n I didn't have any luck hopefully u do

I'm in Florida. And thats what I'm told too. I'm guna talk to my OB tho. I will be due in Oct and turn 23 in August. I have 2 step sons so I have 4 in reality and that's plenty. Lol. I've also heard about tubual implants and that's what id rather do, guess its alotta questions for the Dr. I'm determined to get one of them done after my baby gets here.

It depends on where you live @ , ask your OB. I've also heard you have to be 23 or have 3kids @ least. Im excepting baby #3 by the time baby is here ill be 23 as well & iwant to get my tube tied as well.

Depends on what state younlive in. I'm 28 and having my 3rd my dr said he can do it if I want too. My cousin was under 25 with 4 kids and she had to wait.

It's actually 21 or 3 kids. I'm 23 and already signed my tubal papers and got approved for it after birth.

if you wanna do it just ask your doctor an if you and ur bf/husband change yourind you can get them undone:)

You can get another opinion from a different doctor. If multiple doctors say the same thing, then you could go out-of-state to see if a doctor will do it for you. I live in New Mexico and knew a girl who was 22 with two kids and convinced her OBGYN to tie her tubes after her second baby. They also live on food stamps and take advantage of the system, so that may also be why the doctor let her do it. Otherwise, get an IUD or a strong birth control and start having protected sex.
