I had contractions with my second for a little over a month before they finally induced me 11 days overdue. They were sometimes constant, but didn't intensify or stay constant. They told me they were Braxton hicks because they're definition of Braxton hicks is any kind of contractions, dull or painful, that are not putting you into active labor.
Well right now im bouncing on the edge of my bed because this pain is unbearable when I lay down. Hopefully my princess makes her arrival soon!
Yeah laying down and relaxing is a good way to help elevate some of the discomfort. I like taking hot showers and then laying down to read a book or watch a movie.
Yeah I dont usually relax im out and about everyday. My body needs a break!
Just try and relax my doctor told me to take some tylenol p.m. and just relax as much as i can, and to make sure i stayed hydrated.
Mine were 3-5 minutes apart with smaller not as strong ones inbetween but when she checked my cervix I was only 1cm dilated. She told me maybe tonight or within the next few days.....three days of contractions has me completely worn out!
That's what's happening to me i got told the same thing the day before christmas and i am still waiting to go in to active labor :/ they said my contractions were to irregular to be in active labor and to come back when they were 3-5 minutes apart.
