when i had my first pregnancy i miscarried it and ultra scan shows that the sac is stil and i  went to see doc in the hospital who actually insert 1 cytotec to my varginal and ask to swallow 1 cytotec too so that the remnant sac in my womb will come out. After 1 week i did another scan which shows that there is some left and infection may arise then the doc decided to evacuate the remaining left of the miscarry. therefore dont use cytotec on your own better see a doc

*shivers* yes it "can" cause a woman to miscarry when she's not ready for labor but wanabb is right.. about uterine rupture among other things. Its very dangerous to use. I remember seeing this criminal investigation on tv about the drug & what it had done to this woman but ill skip the details. If you don't want a pregnancy see a trained health care professional to make sure you abort safely. I know that subject may be "tabu" on a site so geared to women wanting babies and happy and excited expectant mothers. But that fact may not be the case for every one. It can be a very desperate, scarey time for some. Just be knowledgable and safe.

cytotec is sometimes used to induce labor, it is NOT FDA approved for use in pregnant women!  It can cause life threatening side effects such as uterine rupture!  please DO NOT take it.
