Am I feeling normal?

Hi ladies.  I just wanted to ask those who have been pregnant before or are currently pregnant if what I'm experiencing or not is normal.  I am 5w 5d pregnant and don't feel different other than mild cramps here and there, sore boobs which have grown a cup size already, and I am hungry all the time and I feel really fat.  My friend told me that prenatals make you feel hungry and I feel like I'm eating all the time.  I'm trying to eat healthy and right, but have already gained 3lbs in a weeks time.
Is this the norm and I'm just paranoid?  My next appt is on the 25th for my 2nd visit which will be when we will see the baby.   Anyone?

Thanks!  We're in the same boat: always wanted kids AND we are close to the same age (I'm 32).  Lots of luck to you!

You're just being paranoid! Early pregnancy you don't really "feel" pregnant. You probably won't really feel pregnant until you feel baby moving!!!

to: blaugrana - Good luck at your appt and yes I will keep you updated.  I've always wanted kids and being 31 with possible twins makes me even more anxious to find out.  Keep me informed too!

I am 9 weeks today and feel different than my last two. With this one I am always tired, my breasts are sore, have grown a cup size already as well, and all of a sudden I am sooo thirsty. Water and milk are what I have been drinking the most of. At least its healthy. I get the mild cramping from my uterus stretching, but those are the only symptoms i have though. I have not had morning sickness with either of my children. This one I have had what felt like a couple tiny bouts of nausea, but thats it. I only wish all women could have pregnancies like this. I woudlnt trade it for the world. For those that get the morning sickness I really feel for you. :-)

I am 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child, and already I can tell that this pregnancy feels totally different. I am already feeling nausea almost contantly all day, but with first pregnancy, didn't have much morning sickness at all. My oldest child is 14, but I still remember everything about it. I gained 60 lbs with first pregnancy, and delivered a 8lb 7 oz baby. I actually thought the prenatal vitamins are supposed to help level out all of the food cravings, but I ate all the time too!! Just stay conscious of the things that you eat, eat more frequently, smaller meals, than larger ones, and drink PLENTY of water. Good luck, and I'm sure it won't be long before you start 'FEELING' all pregnant!!!

Hi ladies.  justms, I am feeling the same way: no morning sickness, nothing but bigger breasts and a little bloating.  In fact, I feel far better than when I was NOT pregnant.  Women are different, justms.  I'm sure you and your little one(s?) are doing just fine.  Be glad you're not deathly ill like a few of the other mommies on this board!  Keep me posted....I'd love to know if you're having twins after all!  Keep your fingers crossed for me, too, please.  I go for my first appt. next Tuesday (yay!).

I wish you the best at your next appt and maybe we both will be bless with twins!  Our 1st appt was on the 4th and we didn't see anything other than what was found on my ovary.  Less than 2 weeks for me to find out.  I find this waiting to be more frustrating than the 2ww.  I actually found out I was pregnant before I miss my period so I will just suck it up and wait.

You'll have to let us know what you find out on the 19th!

I last went to the doctor on the 8th  for some abdominal discomfort.  we were able to see one sac that measured appropriately to my dates.  We also saw what looked like a much smaller sac.  The doctor says we just have to wait and see.  We also can't wait to see if it's one or two.  we are very excited but also nervous since I have had two miscarriages in 2006.  I want to be super excited but I can't help but worry.

Oh yeah I also feel hungry all the time.

I don't have sickness and just feel bloated and fat.  When dh and I went in for our 1st appt, the doc said I was definitely pregnant and mentioned something about twins.  He found 2 cysts called corpus luteum on my left ovary and told us that was sustaining the pregnancy but was too early to tell.  I really want to hear the heartbeat and find out if it's one or two.  I also want to just know that something is really happening.  This is my 1st and I'm so excited, nervous and worried at the same time.
