Due date was yesterday.  Started having contractions at 5pm, water broke at 7pm and now in labor and delivery. They put me on pitocin. Didnt know contractions were going to hurt like this lol def needing an epidural. I thought I could do it natural until this. Will update when I have my baby boy :) 3 cm 70% effaced.

And my brothers baby (nephew) now share the same birthday and weighed the same. Happy 2nd birthday to my nephew and happy day of birth to Josiah <3

So they had to take me off the pitocin because it became so unbearable....off the meds I was having contractions 3 back to back...basically climbing up the guard rail on the bed in such pain lol they finally got the epidural and I thought w my contractions so bad idk how ima sit thru this old slow man doing my epidural lol I relaxed and only had 1 contraction thank god. At about 245am monday 04/21/14, they checked my cervix and said u might want to call ur mom ur going to have him within the next 2 hrs. My mom got there at 320a. As soon as she came in, they told me to get ready theyre setting up for labor time :) I started to push at 355...they had to put oxygen on me once in a while becuz I couldnt recuperate fast enough...My beautiful baby boy Josiah Jesus C. Was born at 407a, 6 lbs 7 oz & 20" long :) now the only thing is that he isnt latching :/ but I keep trying every 2-3 hrs. Labor was intense. Id do it all over again just try to breathe better and not hold my breath lol

Congrats and good luck! I know when i had my daughter contractions were manageable until they started pitocin. Then they became unbearably painful.
