I'm being induced Thursday afternoon  my doc said they would bring me in and put this tampon thing next to my cervix to ripen it Idk exactly what that is he said he would explain more wedenesday  but he never said anything about a balloon?

Ummmm if its yur first just saying it frecking hurts idc wat anyone says! Once they stick the tube n fill up the balloon incide yur cervix it hurts!

I was induced with all 3 of my kids. labors were all about 5 hours and no epidural needed for any of them. trust me induction is not as bad as people try to make it seem. good luck .

Omg ok I went in for a normal prenatal visit last one 1 wk before my due date. And my bp was high. Had Had normal bp my whole pregnancy. So dr says go to the hospital they will probably keep you for a few hours then you'll have a follow up at the complications clinic. I get there and they decide to induce me.They tried 3 or 4 times to put the balloon in my cervix. I was climbing the bed the whole time it hurt me so bad. I had to get the epidural just so they could induce me. 4 hrs later they break my water. Every 4 hrs for 27hrs they checked me I didn't make any progress passed 5cm. So after another 3hr wait they finally gave me the c section I had been begging for. So glad this time I'll have a scheduled c section like with my last it's just so much easier. Good luck to you!!!!
