infected cut

So my dogs got ina fight yesterday and my dumb *** gets in between them to break it up. well one of them scratched my leg up pretty bad, i cleaned it up with alcohol pretty well and put neosporin on it and wrapped it up. but this morning when i checked on it, well im pretty sure its infected. it looks gross. well anyway idk this might be a stupid question but if its infected can it somehow hurt my baby? like maybe something in my blood? i might be worried over nothing idk any advice? thanks

Dogs carry a lot of bacteria in their nails like cats. From the dirt also from their mouth if they lick their paws.
