How do i go through the steps to get medical for my baby when she gets here? Live in PA
Should probably go talk to them now sometimes they have to add you to government aid before the baby is born so that the baby is covered from the moment it takes its first breath other wise it could all be billed to you if you do not already have something set up to cover go to your dhs office and ask would be the best thing to do

Im covered under my moms medical i have no job at the moment so i would have to get government medical for her. Do i just go into the office and tell them i need medical for her? Im a ftm and its all confusing for me
It should automatically happen. The baby will be covered my your medicaid, and whenthe baby is born you just call and let them know. They will give the baby its own medicaid for a year.
If its government it should automatically transfer. Where at in pa because I am too.
If you are on government insurance you just go back out to dhs when baby is born. The baby will go off your insurance at hospital.
If you have insurance through work, you can contact human resources. If it's private insurance, you should call the company to check their policy. Sorry I'm not much help, but every insurance company is different.
