Check Ur prenatal vit. Most have iron in them. Also if u take a iron vit take with orange juice-it helps so Ur body absorbs it better. Just FYI iron vits can make U constipated. Just double check w Ur dr that they want U taking extra iron. U can also get iron fr foods- red meat, steak etc, spinach & more.

You can try for ferup, ferosoft chewable tablet, Orofer capsule and even people use Anemidox. Generally iron supplements cause gastrointestinal irritation or dyspepsia. Sometimes you need to go for different types of brand due to this. Orofer worked for me. Best to have it with vitamin c for better absorption. U shouldn't take calcium at the time of iron intake. Plus you shouldn't use antacids at the same time. Some prenatals have iron and calcium in it. It interferes with absorption. Take it at different time.

My doctor recommend me to take a vitamin c tablet as well because some bodies are different and don't absorb the iron.
