Hey!!! So this is my third pregnancy and im very excited but i have given all my baby stuff away since my youngest is almost 4!! My question is for the first little bit when baby gets home is it safe to have baby sleep in my room in a playpen that has a bassinet?? I have read that its not safe for them to sleep in a playpen but is that even if theres a bassinet in it??? I will obviously have a crib in the babies room but i just dont want to have to buy another bassinet plus a playpen and crib since this will be my last child i was hoping i could cut out cost on at least the bassinet!!! Thanks!!

My daughter slept in a pack n play bassinet. I thing the concern is for when they start to roll over.

We too have gotten rid of alot of our stuff and I intend on using the pack and play with bassinet in our room for him.

It is fine to let them sleep in the playpin with the bassanet! I am doing the same thing! But my daughter is 9 so we had nothing. Everything we have was given to us. We also have a crib in his room but I have to have a cs and can not later in bed after so for a bit me and my baby will be in the recliner. Then he will be in the playpin/bassenett in our room!

Both of my kids have slept in the pack n plays w the bassinet in them and i will do the same with this one. It's ok until they are able to sit up. Good luck.
