I was told by a friend of mine who also has 2 kids and from some breastfeeding website (don't remember which) to wait two hours after. Of course you can always be on the safe side and pump if you would like
Yea pumping and dumping is useless. But it is OK. Its 2 hours per alcoholic beverage. I used to feed then have one.
Apparently you arent supposed to feed you baby for 24hrs after drinking. You're suppose to pump and freeze and the bottles. Thats what my sister told me and she has two kids lol
Look it up on ************. its the best breastfeeding resource, you can find out the safety about almost anything, with the reseatch to back it up.
Well if you have a breast pump I would assume you can pump before drinking and save it for baby after a feed. They also make those strip things to test if your milk is clean. But I've only heard.
Okay thank you ladies. I'm still debating it. Lol
Ive heard pumping and dumping does nothing. And yes a beer right after nursing is fine. A stout beer can actually help with milk production. I had a lactation consultant recomend it to me. But most of the alcohol will metabolise out of your system within that three hours.
pump An Hour After You Drink It An Throw That Milk Away And Then You Should Be Ok But Make Sure You Pump After And Throw It Away...
