Hi ladies I need advice I'm 36 weeks pregnant and went to doctor today and found out I have chylmdia..I'm happily married at least never cheated being married for about four years. Now Dr says it an STD on transmitted sexually..my husband claims he never cheated but Dr says they tested me when I switched to him in March and tested negative for the disease and now I have it...ladies I'm getting treated for the sake of my baby
....but ladies I'm not a fool...did he cheat give me your answers...I need another person to tell me that he cheated and I'm not crazy...

False positives are rare. And the ONLY way to get it from a public restroom is if you had an open fresh wound in your privates/buttocks area and sat on a toilet seat very recently used by someone infected who happened to leave their bodily fluids on the seat. STD's are transmitted through bodily fluids (such as sperm, vaginal discharge, and blood)...so this is VERY rare. If you tested negative in March and positive in June, the only way you would have received it is if your husband cheated on you, contracted the STD and then had sex with you. This means you CANNOT have sex with him until he gets treated as well, or you will get reinfected.

The least he can do is tell you the truth. By lying, even though you have the results from the doctor, he is basically calling you stupid. Either that or he's saying you cheated on him but either way that's really insulting. Stay strong hun and remember, being a great mom by yourself can be better than having an untrustworthy and disrespectful husband/father.

I don't know because my husband had to get antibiotics for it because I guess I had it. He got tested after we have been having sex and it came out negative. Everything pointed to me cheating on him and I didn't and he didn't. So I would honestly sit down and talk to him because I've been in his shoes where all fingers are pointing to cheating. Im not saying he did or didn't cheat but I know how I felt and it was the worst feeling of my life.

All you can do is have him tested. Its the only way to know for sure. To be honest and hopefully give a little hope (I am sure I will get crap for saying this) but I have read before where girls can get it from a public restroom. But like I said only way to be know 100% is for him to get tested also.

I also want to know what are the odds I got tested again today and results come in Friday the nurse say that it can be a false postive and ill know for Friday through urine but my first was by pap smear isn't that more accurate that urine and what are the odds of a false postive

Thanks ladies...I'm enraged with hurt disbelief and betrayal...we have a three year old son and soon to be a newborn but he does this I'm solo done..I've never ever had an STD in my life and for my husband to give it to me...he violated what a husband is for a wife and why a wife is for a husband..I'm done...
