is this baby mine?
My ex had a baby oct.8th the last time me and her had sex was on new years . I been doing a little bit of reading up on this and I have seen that it takes 2 weeks for the egg to be in the uterus or something like that i just really don't know how it works could that baby be mine what is the whole 2 week thing really about . can anyone help i would really like to know if that baby could be mine

Personally, if I was in your situation, I would be getting that DNA test ASAP. The time frames are just too close for someone to determine solely by opinion.
Hun I dont even know what youre talking about with a whoke 2 week thing. Point is there is a chance the child is either yours or someone elses. To know for sure means DNA test. Therefore there is a reason to have it done.
Yes there is because it can take just 20 minutes after sex, if the conditions are right, to become pregnant. So you both have an equal shot at being the dad regardless of the two weeks.

If theres already a test being done why not wait until the results come out? Theres really not a whole lot we can help you with except to get a DNA test done, which youve implied is already being done.
she told me the DR. said the baby was 3 weeks old at the time so the whole 2 week thing was not put into that time but there is a 2 week wait before the baby starts growing or something like that right ?
Like I said it could go either way. I don't know which time line the doctor was going by. I'd assume the doctor was saying that your ex was three weeks pregnant? But she could have been 5 idk I am not her doctor. Why don't you ak her?

It depends on what system the doc was using he could have figured in the 2 weeks preconception in his estimate or he could have gone from conception. There are too many variables so really to put your mind at ease get a test done.
there is some one else that could be the dad but she did not do anything with him till the 18th and when she want to the DR. on the 2nd of feb. he said the baby was 3 weeks old but i read if the baby is 3 weeks old that means she is really 5 weeks along is that true
It's possible the baby is yours the only thing you can do now is get a DNA test done. No one on here can tell you if the baby is yours, we can tell you there is a chance. Does she even think the baby is yours or is there someone else who could be the father. If there is someone else it could be either one and you need to have a test done. Good luck,
i know her last period ended a day or 2 before we did anything. Dose it take that really take that long for implantation?
Does she say the baby is yours? I would request a DNA test the spotting could be implantation bleeding and every woman's body is different where ovulation is concerned. Do you know when her last period was and how long her normal periods were before pregnancy?
well she told me she was spotting on the 10 to the 12 if that means anything but the only time we had sex was on the 1st

That means nothing if she was over due. I would request a DNA test. A woman can go to 42 weeks before a doctor will induce and that means that she could of conceived 2 weeks prior to the possible dates of conception. That means the baby could be yours.

hahah we all said the same thing at the same time. . thought i'd throw that out there. . lol!
why wont you just do a dna test? there is no better way to find out for sure if thats your baby or not. . unless the baby REALLY looks like u then there should be no question. . if theres so much doubt i say DNA test. best of luck cause you cant always count on all that calendar stuff, most of it is all approximations. .
If y'all had sex around the time she was told she conceived then it could be yours. Only way to know for sure is a DNA test. But yes, Sperm can live up to 2 weeks inside and could even take that long to fertilize the egg. I don't think anyone could tell you if the baby is yours or not though.
