Im pregnant with my first but I wanted to say congrats and goodluck!
Congratulations!! Hope everything comes out good always think positive. Im having my second c-section in 8 days but can go early if i dilate more. Its a fast procedure you will feel lots of pressure then all of a sudden you hear the baby cry. Thats when i got so emotional and. then they bring you the baby so you can see him/her for a lil while and then take you to recovery just like mrssanderfur said.
Awww Congrats! (Early that is :)) but just relax and have someone with you. Enjoy your moment, especially when you hear your babies first cry. My first was an emergency c section and I was not expecting that to happen at all. But you will enjoy it either way! I cried and got so emotional.
Four weeks I will have what will be my.third C-Section. They usually talk you through it before you even go into the operation room. They will have you sit on the edge of the bed hunched over, chin to chest, and do the spinal tap, it kinda feels like a pinch and its done, it doesn't hurt but the idea of a needle in my spine freaks me out even though I know they do them everyday. Any way, then you will be moved to the operation table, move as quickly as you can cause the spinal tap kicks in pretty quick and they'll get PO'd if they have to move you lol. Cause it basically paralizes you from Tue armpits down. They have your arms stretched out to the sides of you and a curtain covering your ability to see your belly. You then can request that they tell you step by step what they're doing if you think you can handle it. Once baby comes they do their thing with baby and will bring babe to you (or your husband or whoever will) and let you see it then take baby to the nursery while they fix you up. They'll take you to recovery generally for an hour while the pain meds kick in and the spinal tap wears off.
You can feel pressure while they do the C-Section but it sorta feels like when your arm falls asleep and you push on it, its pressure but you can't feel what's touching you, and you can't even feel pressure where they're gonna cut you so that's good cause that'd freak me put lol.
Good luck and congratulations!
Congratulations!!!! My mom had 2 c-sections and my aunt had one also...they're very routine procedures, absolutely nothing 2 worry about!!!
When I read Ur post all I could say was Ahh. I haven't had C section before but I know prayer pays. You should say a prayer to God asking him to watch over u and Ur baby and the both of u will be fine!! Good luck to u and update when u can.
