I've been through the process of getting hired at a factory... they told me since I was.pregnant id be fired because I couldn't take a.maternity leave... Is that right??

I work in a factory now, @ 30 weeks along. Most factory jobs you are not eligible for FMLA(maternity leave) unless hired into the company and have one year of service with them

well it's a "temporary"job so maybe that's why..it's been my dream to work for this company

Some states have 'right to work' laws that amount to 'right to fire you just because' laws.  If you live in a state with this and are not working under contractyou can be fired for no rreason at all and have no recourse.

They only can fire u if your less then 3 months

Depends on what state you live in and what the labor laws are. Chances are you won't have worked there long enough to qualify for disability or leave so when you have the baby they do not have to keep your job open for you.

They can make u resign and reapply it ***** but they can do that if your not there for a year
