could it be twins?

I'm just shy of 6w along and I'm having it pretty easy so far, I haven't had any nausea :) my belly already feels like its gotten big, and it feels kinda hard (im a ftm so I'm new to all this) I didn't think it was even possible to start to show this soon. My appetite is never ending, and I mean my tummy is always growling for more food...could I possibly be having twins? My first doc appt is Thursday, will he be able to tell this soon if there's twins in here?

Thanks everyone, hopefully my no nausea stays this way :) it's great...also I have twins on my side of the family as does my hubby...that's why I was thinking that's what it could be. Probably just bloated tho

I started showing at 4 wks and never had nausea until 30 wks and its a single baby boy

I was wondering the same thing when I was around 6 weeks pregnant. More than likely you are just bloating but have the bump look alike. I know I never had the bloated look and always had the round bump look the whole time it just depends on your body. And don't feel soooo lucky yet about not having morning sickness it can still kick in. I was all excited and then at exactly 7 weeks I was nauseous all day every day but you could ne one of the lucky ones! And as far as finding out about twins it depends what your doctor does at the first visit.

That's kind of normal lol....and your one lucky duck to not have morning sickness!!!! Plus to get the breast...ugh I'm 30weeks and haven't grew any!! Ha ha..plus I had horrible morning...noon and night sickness.....but you could be bloated as to why your stomach is looking bigger....do twins run in your family?? Also congratulations :)
