I was having contractions consistently 4 minutes apart since last night. So I went it got monitored and checked, and I'm only at a one! And omg getting checked really hurt!! They gave me percocet and sent me home which surprised me but definetly help although I think it may have stopped my contractions or I'm just feeling them less. Anyways I did lose my plug earlier today and was really hoping he would be born on the 3rd cause its my grandmas birthday and shes so excited. But I don't see that happening. I think this is gonna be a long labor.......just needed to vent. Anyone else?

Yes it does! My dr doesn't stop after 34 weeks either. The worse part is once it stops you have no idea when something will happen again. Could be days or weeks! And my family is driving me nuts they are way more impatient than I am.I actually got more nervous just being at the hospital I haven't been that nervous the whole time. But it all finally sank in as I saw the nursery and new moms and realized I'm gonna have to actually push a baby out my vag. Its just crazy.

Lol I am almost 36 weeks! And he said anything after 34 he will take. I think the on call doctor just didn't wanna deal with it! I probably would have had him tonight if they didn't give me the shot again =\ now we both are inthe waiting process huh?  It stinks

Oh wow that sounds very frustrating!! How many weeks are you? I would think since you were at a 4 and having that many contractions that they would keep you. But that's mean for them to tell you one thing then do another cause you go in thinking your having a baby and your ready then they're all like nope!

I just got back from there not too long ago.. 12 painful iv sticks later and finally got the iv in..they check me and I'm still at 4cm 75% effaced and he's at -2 so they sent me home!!! I was just released from a different hospital for pre term on Friday.. And they told me they confirmed with my ob that if I get admitted again they wouldn't stop contractions. And when I was admitted today I was having them 3-4 and 1-2 minutes apart and what do they do??? They stop them! I'm soooooooo frustrated!
