yeah my hospital definitely provides everything you could need they sent me home with enough formula to last for like the first week even
Ujh i wish my hospital provide half of that lol.. espeically good food lol
I also was given the same as ^^^
Also they gave me these cold packs that were AMAZING!!!!!!!
I took like 20 of them home!!!!
My hospital provide the exact same things as kaylaloree :) I basically only needed clothes for me and baby to come home makeup and hair dryer. Everything was given to us and they made sure we took it all home thermometer any clothes for baby and everything kayla included plus razors for me to shave even! They provided all of that for all 3 of my deliveries here in Texas :)
When I left the hospital I took home everything in the room, nurses even told me too because it gets thrown away. Thry provided me with disposable underwear(which is awesome because you can throw it away instead of ruining yours) also they provided pads, toothbrush, toothpaste, bodywash, diapers(pampers) baby wipes, tons of recieving blankets, baby soap, tons of towls, the bulb that ***** up boogers, baby onsies and hats, and food 3x a day that I could order whatever I wanted and it was pretty damn good. Plus I could order snacks fresh juice fruits etx 24hr a day. I had to supplement with forumla so they provided tons of bottles, premade formula, sterile nipples, they also gave me the nicest diaper bag with a stock of breast pads lanolin(nipple cream is a godsend!!) And tons of coupons and samples. My hospital provided everything, but it is a really well off hospital in San diego so I'm not sure how other hospitals compare. When you go for your hospital tour ask what the hospital provides and they should give you a list to pack for your bag, you really only need clothes and shampoo conditioner, hairbrush makeup and a diaper bag for baby. You have to lug everything you bring from room to room and you can't leave it unattended. Also they had a lady come to my room to do professional pics and I'd highly recommend that! I brought a few photo props and the pics are priceless!! Hope you have a great hospital stay like I did. Congrats on your baby!!
I never thought of taking a bigger size just in case. Thank you! Thank you all ladies this helps and its not a huge list to pack!
for u just those huge pads so u wont stain the bed. Huge period Pads and these thin underwear, but no they do not provide breast pads. Just take shampoo, soap, toothbrush, hair brush , lotion You can take ure own comfortable clothes n undies. for afterbirth if hospital allows
Don't forget your phone charger, and a hairbrush. Bring some size 1 diapers incase newborns are too small those are usually what the hosp provides.
When I had my daughter 3 and a half years ago they didn't provide breast pads. I would bring yours just to be safe. Also, any tissue, shampoo, soap, diapers, wipes anything that they bring into your room take home! Not only does the hospital throw it away after you leave, your insurance was also charged for it. Good luck!
Okay thank you!! Well I'm already wearing breast pads so I thought maybe I should take some and if the hospital has them then I'll use there's. Lol sounds good thank you!!
Thwy provide pads idk about breast pads I never had to use them at the hospital. Put clothes for u and the baby diapers and botles will be provided by the hospital. Shampoo and a soup bar if u wanna shower oh and a towel. Books if u wanna read.
