Typically they don't affect baby. I'm 33 w and have passed four stones since 10 wks. I still have one in my ureter (stuck) which caused my kidney to not pass urine to my bladder... causing it too swell. At this point the pain is causing me to have pre term labor but the drs don't feel comfortable doing surgery as it could put me into labor. So I am coping with pain meds. Most of the time there is very little they can do when pregnant!

I was told I could have one but that cant do a cat scan because it is dangerous to my baby girl so they told me to take Tylenol and to drink a ton a ton of water and rest and keep urinating frequently and not to hold it in and hopefully it will comeout but they really didn't do much since like I said in my situation they said my left kidneys blocked and I have hydronefrsous(spelling) which is where my tubes to where the kidneys stones would get out are swollen and since they said it didn't look to bad I have to wait till im not prego anymore to do further testing bc they really said they don't know for sure if its a stone or not or what is causing the pain or blockage goodluck hun:)

Sometimes it can be dangerous for the baby. I had surgery at 25weeks with my first to clean out both my kidneys cuz i couldn't pass the stones. Im now 28weeks with my second and i have officially passed 4 stones so far with this pregnancy and i know i will be passing alot more.
Treatments differ between women. Everything is taken into consideration. For example if you can pass them or not is one big thing. But normally you just have to wait for the stone to pass on its own. Sometimes they will give you pain meds to help but i have been dealing with stones so much in my life that i don't need them. I know they will pass eventually.
Good luck. I hope you pass it soon.
