seriously freaking out!! read asap

so today at my 35 week doctors appt she said the baby was measuring so small and that in two weeks they wanted to do another ultrasound. she said she thinks it would have to be low ammnitoic fluid BC two weeks ago I was right on target and measuring great. there was also a bump on my leg she said she thinks it could be a blood clot and she wants me to wait until wensday to get an ultrasound on my leg and then she ran out of them room. I am going crazy I can't stop crying. I Dont want to wait two weeks and I deff Dont want to wait another 48 hrs if she honestly thinks its a blood clot. has this happened to anyone  please help I am so upset idk what to do

thanks guys! that makes me feel better. they have never told me before I measured small. my first weighed over 8 pounds. when she told me that my heart sank. I didn't understand. thanks for all your comments!

I was told my 2nd baby was measuring at  5 lbs they were afraid she might not even hit 5 lbs. When she was born 1 day after that ustrasound weighed 7lbs11oz and it was opposite For my first baby they said she was going to be close to 9 lbs and she was 6lbs9oz. I had high fluid with both of my girls so my belly alway measured big. I think they r normally  off by a few lbs. So u probably have nothing to worry about. So dont stress to much till ur ustrasound which I bet will turn out fine. the blood clot I can understand you being worried about. I hope everything turns out ok for you.

They told me both my babies were measuring small and did ultrasounds and everything and my first was 6lbs 7oz and my second was 7lbs 2oz. My doctor said it's cause I'm a small person so my babies will be small. As long as they aren't unhealthy small then u have nothing to worry about. If it was serious they would have sent u for an ultrasound that same day. It happened to me with both my babies.

thanks guys I went to the ER and they checked to see if I was leaking ammenotic fluid and they were so mean! ugh I hate going to labor and delivery when they have grumpy nurses. but thank god it wasent leaking. I told them how bad my leg hurts and she told me she could see I had an appt on wensday so they would check it then. I'm going to call my doctor in the morning just to have her explain to me why she thinks the baby is measuring so small. my leg is killing me and all the sudden its gotten so red and hot but I'm just keeping it up.

If she was that worried it was a blood clot she would have sent you to the hospital then and there. I had and scare where they thought I had one last month and I was pushed to the front of the line for every test. They take those seriously. Go to the ER to put your own mind at ease.

Maybe just go to the er if your really worried she probably should have had you checked right away. Sorry your dealing with this stress. Hope everything is OK.
