i think 2ndbaby77 is right, she would get upset if she saw you crying, whether it be good or bad tears..i think she could deffinatly come in after the baby is born though :)
I dont think its traumatic either. I think seeing someone in pain isnt the worst thing in the world, and birth is a really cool experience. It depends on what you make of it. My biggest concern at that age is them getting bored and into things, and me needing to focus on me at the time, and my husband needing to focus on me too.
Um it's not going to tramatize her.. Just sit her down and explain some things to her b4 Its time and shell be fine :) my niece was in the room with my sister and she's only 5
Okay, thank you both! You have brought up points I haven't thought of. I think I will find a baby sitter for that day. :)
i think that for a four year old seeing that would traumatize her. she doesnt know whats going to happen and then she sees mommy bleeding and crying and getting ripped apart i think she would be horrified. mine will be almost four when i have this one and there is no way i would have her in there.plus if something god forbid were to go wrong in there? like you ended up needing a c section or something. thats not stress she needs.
I think its up to you, and what you think your daughter could handle, and if you could handle having her there and having to worry about her. Ive considered letting my oldest in with us shes 6.
