My Labor story :)

My labor story: on January 21 I went to the hospital to be induced. When i was admitted i waited for about 4 hours till my doctor came to see me. I was given a suppository to soften the cervix. within a couple hours i was contracting on my own so doc checked me and i was 3 cm dilated, he told me he would hold off on the pitocin to see if i would go all the way by myself. well about a couple hours went by and the pain got worse, so i go checked again i was now a 5. doc came back in about 6 and started me on pitocin to try and speed up my process... 2 or 3 hours later i rolled on my side and had hard intense pains in my back that would not let up. called the nurse and she said i was only a 6 so i got some pain meds to help ease the pain and i passes out for a couple hours. Then i got woken up in pain so bad i was in tears and didnt want anyone touching me. I was now at 6 1/2 and i got more pain meds.... one of the nurses had come in about 3 hours after my last pain dose and told me that baby girls heart beat was dropping after contractions, which isnt a good thing. so my doctor was called. i was then put in for a c section cause the doctor thought it would be best to just get her out now instead of waitng. I got the spinal block while trying not to laugh at the anesthesiologist, and within 15 or so minutes my baby girl was born. My fiance was balling his eyes out as soon as she came out, and told me she was beautiful. I was able to hold my face against hers for a min until they took her out the room and my love carried her to the nursery. So after trying to deliver naturally. Marissa Lynn Lewis was born via c section at 12:11 pm on 1/22/15 weighing 8 pounds 6 ounces and 20 1/4 inches long :)
