ladies who have had babies recently

Just wondering if anyone who has had their little one recently still hangs around here. How are you getting on? Are you recovering okay?

My baby is six weeks old now and is finally starting to let me get a couple of hours of uninterrupted sleep at night which is nice. I'm breastfeeding and he wants to be fed allllll the time which is frustrating.

Hope you're all doing well :)

I've been nursing him lying on my side in bed in the morning but I'm so scared of him getting smothered by me or sheets that I find it hard to relax. Hoping I'll get more confident in time.

Glad you're starting to feel better halerz. I had an emergency c sections and am on my third set of antibiotics for wound and womb infections but starting to feel better now too.. At least baby keeps me so busy I don't have much time to think about how I feel haha.

I do that too Galvez. I nurse him laying on on our sides facing each other & we both fall asleep lol. My son is 11 weeks old now & sleeps through the night, but we definitely went through the phase where he was permanently attached to my boob. It does pass! It took me a long time to recover because I had severe pre-eclampsia, but I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. You guys should join the breastfeeding forum if you haven't already! Hope all is well with you and your little ones.

just hang In there girl a lot of moms go thru wat u are I've been in ure shoes b4 but keep up wat ure doing try just latching baby while u sleep so both of y'all could fall asleep together. Once I did that I was able to get more sleep,  I would just pop the boob out n she would let go when she was done. n I would make hubby wake up to change dipers so that also helped
