I bought my baby's dresser and I organized all of her clothes I havent washed anything yet since I'm waiting untill my baby shower to wash everything at once . Anyways the clothes now Smell like wood the dresser is brand new so it had that new wood smell and idk how to get rid of it so when I wash her clothes and re fold them they don't start smelling like wood ! Does anyone know what I can do make the wood smell go away ? My fiance suggested using perfume but lol I don't think that would work ?

if you go to Walmart or Target Lysol has a new Scent/sanitizer called the baby's room. I use this in my baby's nursery I took out the drawers and let them air out sprayed some Lysol in the room and in the Drawers and it made it smell 10 times better.

Maybe use those scented drawer liners?

Maybe try taking all the drawers out and letting it sit in the garage or back porch for a few days? Plus some febreeze?

Open up the dresser and let it "air" out for a few days and i would try an air deodorant instead of perfume.
