I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and renting a room from someone for 700 a month that inludes utilities. I moved in last year because it was close to school and the train station. Although, I pay 700 a month there is no access to a kitchen and he wants me to unplug all electronics when I am not using them. So, I do not have fridge but my boyfriend brings me milk in the morning since it is good for the baby. I am moving soon though. This week it has been near 100 degrees and I turned on the air conditioning because I know the hot air is not healthy for me and the baby. The landlord came and turned it off. When I asked him to leave it on because it was unhealthy for me and the baby he informed me that I am not paying to turn on the air and if I had a problem with it he can give me half of this month's rent back and I can leave today. I informed him that if he wants me out that he will have to give me proper notice according to Maryland law and kindly asked him to exit my room and have a nice day.

Was I wrong because my lease did say utitilies included? I was worried that the intense heat is putting me and the baby in danger. His niece stays there also and she does not pay rent.
