late?

Well I'm 20 years old and I've been with the same guy for 4 years now. My period usally comes on the 1st through the 4th, 4th being kinda late for me. Well today is the 7th and still NO period!! Last month we had sex once with no protection (this being my bright idea since we never do it that way) and now I'm just sitting here waiting for my period! it's no huge deal if i am pregnant, I've been with him for 4 years as i said, marrying him one day as well =) so it's not like i'm freaking out, just wanting to know what is up with it! I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. Well I took another this morning and it took FOREVER to show up one little line. I just dont understand why I havent started yet!

I feel fine, not sick, not cramping, no nothing. hmmm!

any ideas or advice? I still have one test left, I guess I'll wait a couple days *maybe 2* and test again to see?

thanks ladies. i will text in another 2 days or so, if i can wait that long!! it drives me insane not knowing! last month i was cramping so bad i had my doctor call me in something (flexeril) and i usally cramp SO bad the day before my period and i havent cramped at ALL this month! i only took one/two flexeril last month so i dont think that would have any change on when i start.

yeh i agree the test you took this morning may have been bad as it took so long for the control line to show definitely test again in a few days

Definitely test again. Some people ovulate later than others, and it is quite possible that you are early preggers and not yet registering. If it is more than a week late, I would just go and get a blood test...

Well it didnt show up positive, it was negative. It showed one line, meaning no. the first test i done, it showed up really quick! well this morning when i did it, it took forever to show up the one line, still showing that i'm not pregnant. It just confuses me cause I've never been late before.

if it took a long time to show up positive you may be very early or it could have been a drying out line if i were you i would wait a few days and retest first thing in the morning to see if the line shows up with in the time frame and darker good luck
oh when you say on line was that in the control window or test window
