laundry detergents
I know I'm supposed to go out and buy specail detergent just for the baby but I only get the free and Clear stuff anyways so can any one tell me why I should use the "special" stuff and not the stuff I use for myself? Is it really going to make difference or is it just so they can make us buy different detergents?

I've never bought different detergent and I'm on baby 3 the regular detergent didn't bother my other two and if you buy the free and clear stuff anyway you should be fine.
Thanks everyone... I'm just going to get some more free & clear stuff and then have a laundry day for all the baby's clothes.
i have always used the same washing detergent and im on baby number 4. No harm came to my kids but i was also never told to use different detergent either.
i also used all free and clear for myself 3yo and new baby... most people say to uses dreft baby detergent but that also has dyes and perfume in it
U don't need to use special soap for Ur laundry. I've never used anything but regular laundry soap. The only recommendations I have is to have some baby oxy clean for diaper leaks and so on. It helps with poop stains. Lol.
