8 weeks and 6 days

Tomorrow I'll be 8 weeks and 6 days and having my first ultra sound what should I expect?????

You should see your little bean and see the heart beating, super cool :) congrats!!!!
I didn't get to hear the beat until my 20 week scan.
But mine did move around like a jumping bean lol.

Yu may have to get the probe ultrasound it is very uncomfortable also make sure your bladder is full

The one I got at 8 weeks was a viginal scan, so it's just image, no sound. Basically they stick this ward inside you just a little and get a reading, not too bad.
The one at 20 weeks is the normal ultrasound, gel on your belly and all. You will get to hear the heartbeat for sure then. Some place can even give you the recording and photos on a cd.
My favorite part of all the doctor's visit was when the nurse look for the heartbeat with a doppler at the beginning of every visit :)

I saw a blob lol and we got to hear the heart beat. I was about as far along as you. Goodluck and enjoy :))

Mine was, hes not easily amused but he was to fascinated with it, it was adorable :)

Our first baby too. My husband went to almost every single one of my appointments, and now every one of baby's check up so far. Going in for her 4 months check up soon, they grow up so fast.
