How far along are women before they get their maternity photos taken?

I am doing a gender reveal and (hey I'm pregnant) photos in 2 weeks. We are finding out sex in 2 weeks when I will be 17 weeks. Have seen so many cute photos online I can't decide which ones to do. I can't wait to do maternity ones when I get further along and actually have a belly :)

I had mine done at 35 weeks.. my belly is tiny and hardly noticeable at times. You can get them done whenever you are comfortable :)

I was going to ask this. We haven't told everybody but I find out the gender in 2 weeks and we were going to do a gender reveal/ I'm pregnant photo shoot. I'll be 17 weeks at that point but I'm not pregnant belly shaped. Lol

I got mine taken at about 32 weeks. I wanted to do it when I was still comfortable and confident. And I'm glad I did it then.
