Had a discussion with a friend last night she seems to think that you can go all day pregnant without any meals just water and a prenatal vitamin the baby is still going to get enough nutrients????? I

The baby does take your nutrience, but starving yourself is never good. You need to eat because even thlough baby takes what he or she needs from you tbats gonna leave you tired and malnuterished *just woke up cant spell lol* so you do need to eat to keep yourself and baby healthy.

With a healthy diet and taking prenatals your hair/skin and nails should grow and be beautiful hence the "pregnancy glow."

Her hair probably looks like that cause she isn't getting any vitamins like you said. Baby is taking everything from her to grow.

I figured that much but does it make your hair unhealthy????? When she's prego her hair is very dry thin and poofy her hair actually looks better after pregnancy which is weird but I think its bc of not enough vitamins

Baby Is going to take what it needs from you so you will feel awful awful terrible if you don't eat but baby will be fine trust me I know I  have been sick the whole time there are days I do t eat doc says baby is great

This isn't something I want to test out trust me lol I can't stay away from the fridge for over an hour:) lol I'm just wondering I guess that's how she got away with only gaining 9 pounds with her children

Im not a profeshional..ok but to me its common sense...you dont have to eat alot but you do gotta eat..your body cant function right just drinking water everyday.so how would a baby be properly taken care of if your bodys not able...

I'm sure you wouldn't starve, but I would not risk the health of my baby nor myself to test this theory.
