Does Medicaid Go ThrougH Social Services ? Or Is It Ust There To HelP With Payments ??
Go through your county welfare/human resources office...apply for WIC. Its worth the help. I worked for 12 years and had to stop at 24wk. I applied for WIC and food stamps. While applying for food assistance I was qualified to receive Medicaid as my secondary insurance (since I still have insurance through work because I'm laid off but returning). Its worth every bit of help...even if its not much.
I had my son at 17 and used Medicaidto help us get by... don't let the"social services" stigma drive you away from is benefits. . It sounds like you are working very hard to make ends meet And it sounds like a little help from Uncle Sam wouldn't hurt any : ) Best of Luck

What do you mean social services like child protective services? You apply through the state...I've been on it for a few years and have had nothing to do with social services.
You can get Medicaid at 17 you can apply online since your pregnant you actually dont need your mom to say anything. It easy to apply and alot better than having medical bills pilled up especially since your just 17. You can also apply for wic they'll help with groceries.
You usually have to be 18 to qualify for benefits im not sure if they let 17yr old habit since your not considered un adult
Medicaid usually pays for things. They usually send you to doctors that get medicaid so you don't pay.
Well Im 17 And Hoing To Be Moving Out And Ill Have Like No Money With Rent Car Insurance And Everything Else So Im A Bit Worried My Mom Doesnt Want Me To Go Through Medicaid Because Of The Social Services But I Wont Have Any Other Way Of Paying For Everything Without Them . I Make 7.25 On Week Days And 8.70 On Weekends And I Work 20-50 Hours A Week Im Just Stressed Idk What To do
Medicaid goes threw social services because that's where you apply. But I'm not sure what you mean with payments.
