He said he usually dousnt let patients pass 1 week more then there due date. If next week im not progressing there going to see if I have to have c section . Im scared its my first baby I dont want get cut open. Im sad I wish everything goes good and I start dilating. Any advice on what to do ?  sometimes in the night I get braxton hicks but not super painful ones.

You're like me atm. My cervix is "angled" at the moment and I've been at a 1.5 cm forever. I'm 40w1d I walked about 8 miles last week and it got me to dilate from 0 to a 1 lol that's about it. I still don't feel contractions

Im from the Uk and they make you wait 14days after your due date to be induced . they dont even think about a c section unless an emergecy . I find it so strange how US do it different. I hope everything goes well for you. Maybe try stimulate your nipples to see if that brings on labor . Goodluck mama
