Is it safe to take antibiotics during pregnancy? Amoxicillin?
They prescribed it for me for a uti! Just making sure it was safe as I am a ftm. I'm 8 weeks!
I've taken amoxicillin and macrobid during my pregnancy both prescribed by my doc
I took amoxicillin for a UTI in the beginning of my pregnancy. As long as your doctor is okay with it and prescribes it for you, you should be fine. If it is for an infection, the infection can be more harmful to the baby then the actual medicine itself
If your doctor prescribed it then it should be safe to take. They wont give u anything unsafe or unnecessary during pregnancy
