My doc did a membrane sweep at 39+4 Monday Aug 19 and before that I was at barely 1-2 cm dialated and not having contractions. I was sure it wouldn't do anything, but Wed morning at 2 am started having contractions, was admitteds to hospital 6 am Wed 21 on my due date, had my little boy at 3:14 pm

They admit you at 4cm at the hospital here...

Looks like I'll be doing a lot of walking... lol

I was 3-4 cms dilated for 3 weeks.. Had 4 membrane sweeps. The fourth one worked at 40+5 for me. It won't work unless your body is ready

I was 2-3cm dilated, had four sweeps between 39+6 and 41+5 and still didn't go into labour x

They don't admit you at ur hospital wheb ur that far dialated? Where I go I only have to be 2cm to be admitted.
