milk supply??

Hey ladies :) well baby boy is now 6 weeks and im still exclusively bf. Idk if its just a growth spurt or my milk supply but there last 2 or 3 days I feel like im not enough for him. My breasta barely ever feel engorged but hr only eats maybe 10 or 15 min max!!! He still eats about every 3 hrs like clock work... idk if its just me being paranoid or what but im so worried he not getting enough. Any suggestions??

As long as he is gaining weight it's fine.  He would be screaming constantly if He were starving.  I think many moms are surprised at how much their babies feed and think they must not be producing enough.  But that just how it is.  It seemed like my kids lived on my boob for the first 4-5months. And if he only feeds for 15 min maybe you have more holes than most and a great supply :-)

I guess my paranoia is that when Im not engorged I feel emptt or just feel like I'm not doing something right. I mean he's already 12 pounds so I guess he's getting plenty. Prob me just being paranoid!! Thanks ladies :)

def dont suppliment, it will be a growth spurt, just put him to breast as often as he wants and your milk supply will increase to his demands, also you shouldnt feel engorged anymore as your milk supply will be regulated by how much your bub is having :)

DON'T supplement!! 6 weeks is a big growth spurt. Your baby may cluster feed. That's good. If you're concerned have him weighed before and after you feed him. See how many ounces he is taking. Most lactation consultants will let you use their scales for free :)
