miscarriage question

I went to the doctor on Tuesday, and he said that he could not see a heartbeat or fetal pole, and it looked like the sac was collpasing.  I would be 7 weeks tomorrow.  My pregnancy symptoms are getting worse, and it is heartbreaking sitting around waiting to lose a baby.  Any thoughts about how long it typically takes for the miscarriage to start?  This is our first mc.

I had a m/c in jan about the same time as you and the only answer i can give you is that everyones bodys are different and it all depends when yours is ready to let go x i know this wont help much but when i started to bleed the doctors said everything was ok it was implantation bleeding from starting to bleed it took me six days to pass my clot i know that seemd like a long time but it really helped having my family and friends around x i am sorry i cant be of more help i am really sorry x

God is amazing.  We went in yesterday with a list of questions about miscarriages and D&C, and the doctor found a heartbeat.  He said that the sac was a little small but nothing concerning.  It was a complete rollercoaster of emotions.  He had no real explanations, but I know that it was a week's worth of prayer and support.  Thank you to everyone.  We are a little later than he originally thought, but otherwise things are fine.
