Why did they use a Doppler that early without a follow up ultrasound? my doctor couldn't find a heart beat at 11 weeks and sent me to get an ultrasound a few minutes later to be sure everything was alright.  Turns out my baby just likes to swim away from things touching my belly.

I am a little concerned they are waiting 2 weeks just for a Doppler. If you are having or have had a miscarriage that can cause damage to you and even make you horribly sick. I'm sorry but in a case like that I'd turn around and go straight to the e.r. just to be safe.

They normally can't hear the heart beat at your Dr's till your 13 weeks my Dr tried when i was 12 and she couldn't hear it , don't worry yourself if your Dr didn't tell you otherwise

A heartbeat should be visible at 11 weeks

At 11 weeks my Midwife couldn't find a heart beat, but she was using a doppler... Everything turned out ok though, baby is just really tiny. Hope all turns out well!

Generally a heartbeat can be seen by 6-7 weeks on ultrasound, heard on doppler by 11-12 weeks. Is it possible your dates are off and you're earlier than you think?
I'd be concerned that they were unable to see it on ultrasound at 11 weeks and wonder why they want you to wait two whole weeks for further investigation.
Generally I say trust your doctor's judgment - but when my midwife didn't hear a heartbeat with doppler at 11 weeks she sent me for an immediate ultrasound to check and see if they could find it. They found an empty sac - I'd had a blighted ovum, a "missed miscarriage", and I needed a d&c.
I'm not saying this is what has happened to you - and I'm sorry if it makes you worry, I hope everything is okay with you. But you asked for others' experiences and yes, I would ask for a closer look or more information sooner than two weeks out. Best of luck to you.

Some woman don't hear a heart beat until 13 weeks I didn't. If your doctor isn't worried then I wouldn't if I was you.
