Anything with ginger in it really helps, also I did the BRAT diet and that really helped me with my first pregnancy, banana's, rice, applesauce and toast. Drink lots of fluids to keep yourself hydrated, and drink small drinks ever 15-20 minutes or so, so it stays down. Also, when are you taking your prenatal? Try taking it at night before bed, if I took my prenatal during the day it made me SO sick! I hope you feel better!
I heard light exercise helps with morning sickness as well as other symptoms... I am an exercise freak and obsessed with fitness and haven't had a single symptom, I am 7wks4days and don't feel a thing. I also heard that watermelon works too with morning sickness. Just be sure that you are taking your prenatals regularly.
I'm on the same boat I'm 7 almost 8 weeks with crazy nausea luckily no vomiting. my doctor also put me on Zofran which doesn't do anything so he also perscriped me promethizine which helps ALOT but makea you pass out for like 15 hours.
I cut mine in 4ths and that seems to help if I take it the night before it works most of the next day. & doesn't make you asleep as long
Sugar helps so much for me, I'm 29 weeks and one of those 'lucky' mamas that still get morning sickness. I've been through pretty much every trick in the book to try and ease the discomfort. Eat really small meals very frequently. Basically try to always have something in your stomach so your stomach acid has something to do instead of making you feel crappy. Ginger is really good, candied ginger, ginger ale, ginger tea all are good options. Milk helps too sometimes, if you can't stomach regular white milk try chocolate milk. Avoid foods that are high in fat, salt, and grease as your stomach has to work overtime to digest those foods and that can make you feel worse. And like I said, sugar helps. Hard candies, gummy candies, gum, etc. Drink water but try not to drink too much all at once because that can have the opposite effect and make the morning sickness worse. Gatorade or operate are really good alternatives. Try a meal replacement like ensure or boost (tip, make sure you keep them real cold, the warmer they get the grosser they taste) I hope you find something that helps!
