IMO I tried everything under the sun and nothing worked. It depends on the person. She should talk to her doc though. They will have a few options for her to try.
ok, its not natural.. but it works. You can take Dramamine or generic (which is a heck of a lot cheaper) and it helps with the nausea. Or your doctor can give you something.
The bracelets are called "Sea Bands" and they didn't work for me, but I had HG (a severe and rare form of morning sickness).... I ended up having to take prescription meds for mine, but I did find that "Preggie Pops" helped a LOT. They're sour hard candies that contain ginger and natural ingredients; you can get them online or at MOtherhood Maternity stores. Staying hydrated makes all the difference, too. If water makes her nauseated, suggest ice chips. Peppermint candies also took the edge off for me, sometimes. I didn't take B-6 but I've heard it can help. Also, switching prenatal vitamins can be a huge help - iron can make a person very nauseated and prenatals are packed with iron. I switched to Flinestones vitamins per my doc's recommendation and it made a big difference.
thanks i will tell her for sure
I used the bracelets and they worked wonders for me, you'll still feel a little nausea here and there, but it wont be severe and easy to get through with drinking water slowly!
lavender tabs will stop it. You can get it from any drug store. Some one gave me some with my first pregnancy an it worked, God to GNC or any store like that an ask them whats safe for you. They can look it up for you. Anita
well thank you! do those bracelets really work!!??
At like Walgreens or Rite aid, or I would assume any drug store, they have anti-nausea bracelets you can wear. Just ask the pharmacy about them! They work! Or Vitamin B-6 100 mg 1 tab a day works. I'm on that now, it also helps promote a healthy heart! But make sure it's 100 mg tablet, and only one daily.
