Even a shot of morphine to help you rest can work miracles in your labor if you need it. I labored all night and was luckily dabble to doze between contractions but my friend needed a shot of morphine to help her sleep a bit. Being rested helps a ton so rest in early labor if you can.

They have tubs at the hospital im going to, and trust me they know i want to live in one of them! Lol. And my mother is a massage therapist so her and the boyfriend in the same room should be a good thing. Ive been doing a lot of walking to prepare, i just want to know what will help me most just in case!

The most effective is either a spinal or an epidural. The epidural is a continual dose, the spinal is a single dose. So if you don't need it for very long, spinal is your best bet. It causes fewer complications than the epidural can.
But wimp or not, you can have a drug free birth! Prepare well ahead of time and walk as much as you can. Labor in a tub or shower or have someone give you a massage. These are all effective chipping strategies that have helped many a 'wimp' through labor.
